Investment Strategy *** The Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Hospitality (CS REF Hospitality) invests primarily in hospitality real estate such as convention centers, residential properties offering hotel-style services, hotels, and residential and limited-time living facilities; it also invests in healthcare real estate and housing throughout Switzerland. By law, the fund is prohibited from holding a stake in operating companies. The fund holds the real estate directly. Private holders of unit certificates who are resident in Switzerland are therefore not subject to income and wealth tax on the portion of the revenues (or the assets) that comes from direct property holdings. Initially, the CS REF Hospitality will only be open to qualified investors.
